Reflections of our week in Cannes… Got in early this year on Saturday and thanks to Mathieu Roche and ID5.io enjoyed a great round of golf Sunday morning at Royal Mougins. What a great outing with wonderful golfers! And I won $15 from Terence Kawaja Sunday night was great celebrating Wenda Harris Millard "Special" birthday. Thanks to Christine C. Cook for orchestrating the surprise! Monday was full of meetings and then our sponsorship of THE event at Cannes…the LUMA Partners, LUMA Blanc party and hosting a dinner at Baoli for 21! What a night! The highlight on Tuesday was hosting a lunch with Ad Net Zero US and John Osborn for 20 senior ad tech execs for our 2nd Annual Sustainability Roundtable. Major discussion to continue to drive the industry to enable 3rd party measurement of carbon emissions. A great follow up to last year’s inaugural Sustainability roundtable hosted by Duration Media LLC. and Ad Net Zero US. The evening was highlighted by attending The Bloomberg dinner! Thanks for the invite Christine C. Cook Wednesday we hosted a breakfast with Ad Net Zero US and John Osborn for 20 Publisher execs for How Publishers Can Win in the Green Media economy. Publishers learned how our Sequency™ ad tech generates incremental ad impressions while curating ONLY highly viewable and carbon efficient ad impressions. Pubs learned how they can have Purpose AND Profit using Sequency™. Pubs also learned about a new initiative to educate consumers how they can reduce their carbon footprint by participating in the Ad Climate Alliance with NGOs like WildAid and Rare. The evening was highlighted by attending The CNN dinner! Amazing evening of provocative discussion about civility in discourse and wonderful networking. Thursday’s meetings were amazing, and the evening dinner was put together by Anthony Katsur with 16 or so Cannes ad tech stragglers. Great to see old friends and meet some wonderful new ones. Friday finished off an incredible week with a great meeting with the CEO of one of the major agencies. You will hear more about that REAL soon. Au revoir Cannes…best one yet!
