We are recruiting a Program Physician for Southern Hills CTC, an outpatient Opioid Treatment Center that offers medication assisted Adult, outpatient treatment center.
Located in Las Vegas, Nevada, Southern Hills Comprehensive Treatment Center offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to adults age 18 and older of all genders who are struggling with opioid addiction.
Treatment centers that offer MAT are frequently called methadone clinics, and it is sometimes assumed that they only provide medication. At Southern Hills Comprehensive Treatment Center, we consider the whole person, and we use both medication and counseling to treat opioid addiction.
The Program Physician will work with the Medical Director assist with leadership, quality assurance, oversight and overall medical management of the clinic within the boundaries of state and federal regulations and accreditation standards. Responsibilities include planning, organizing medical and clinical practices, providing direct patient care and assisting other departments with direct interactions with physicians or medical staff.
Current NV license to practice medicine
Board certification or certificate of admissibility for board certification
Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions
Additional specific DEA credentials may be required
Prefer previous experience in behavioral health or substance abuse treatment
No history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three years before employment
