Suggesting a new presidential debate format: An event of normal things. 1. Who can tie thier shoes and neck tie. Double windsor required 2. Download a new app on phone use it. Connect to a local device via Bluetooth and successfully play audio. 3. 45 min playing monopoly without calculators. 4. Put a car seat in a sedan. Successfully buckle in an 18 month old. Drive to day care and check in the child. 5. Make a toasted turkey and cheese sandwich. Naturally, a point system would need to be created, but viewing the candidates do these things would be more entertaining and useful in determining who has some competency remaining.

Can't remember that last time our team went through a day and didn't hear, "We just need more trade in leads." Those same folks are also...... -60-70% never contact, unless potential customer is interested in buying something else. -Time to contact is 3-20 minutes after submission -80% make only 2 attempts before giving up. Below is the response we got from a client well above the average: Only thing we are measuring now, is for how long they keep this up. Thinking two weeks.

Time to check your 2024 Goals. 50% give up mid February and 90% before end of March. For the 1st time since I can remember, my top goal for the year was not profession related. -Read the Bible 4x per week- Happy to say this has become a daily routine for my wife and I most mornings. If you stumbled out of the gates in 2024, not much you can do about it now except double down on the 1st day in Q2. So yes, I work at a local Chick-fil-A Restaurants. As many who get laid off, you initially hesitate to announce your bridge job on LinkedIn because to some recruiters or hiring managers it may come off as lesser than. Previously working in Executive Search, I recall many asking, “Why is he/she working there?” My response was simply, “He/she was laid off and have a household to contribute towards, so instead of relying soley on unemployment, aimlessly applying to jobs (only to receive rejection after rejection) he/she decided to work.” Yes, the current job may not exactly be within their area of specialty, but wouldn’t you rather hire someone who was willing to get up from the mat after receiving an uppercut than staying down for the KO?” After going through the rinse-repeat cycle of applying and interviewing for 3 months, I too got off the mat and decided to join an organization I long admired. For the past 5 months, it’s been “my pleasure” to serve our customers, operations leadership, and my peer Team Members. Over the course of my transition period, I’ve gained a heightened sense of teamwork, collaboration, problem-identification, problem-solving, agility, effective communication, active-listening, customer service, conflict-resolution, relationship-building, business operations, leadership, accountability, and (most importantly) humility. I hope to bring these intangibles and my proven ability as a Talent Acquisition/Early-Career/Employer Branding leader to the Chick-fil-A Corporate Support Center or my next organization. #openforwork | #talentacquisition
