Which brand do you think has best executed the journey from luxury consumer goods into luxury hospitality?
Interesting read. Some "food for thought" maybe....Armani, Versace, Louis Vuitton - hotels that will provide the best of everything for valued HNW and UHNW guests, and yet there is one guest experience which is exactly the same in these hotels as it is in a budget roadside motel...."everyone sleeps on a used mattress", and used by many hundreds of others all with different personal hygiene standards and habits! Maybe time for some change here.
The discerning money in the fashion industry are moving away from the tried and tested legacy brands as these have been oversold and now far to available to be perceived as exclusive , you only have to look at where these brands have been successful ( Dubai , Miami ) to understand the profile of the buyer
Luxury hotel brands like Armani, BVLGARI & Versace are renowned for its unparalleled experiences, with the Belmond merging w/Moët Hennessy & Louis Vuitton we shall see further advancements to the ultra luxury hospitality. NOBU Hotels distinguish themselves by combining culinary mastery’s with luxury refinement and this trend is anticipated to flourish.
Andrew , agree ! Branded Hospitality and Residences are a very hot demand !!
Bulgari, Baccarat, and LVMH are my favorites in the luxury hospitality space!

2moI think the biggest evolution is yet to come and LVMH / Belmond will lead the way. The horsepower, coupled with the refinement and excellence, will help the brand propel in the coming years. These two industries are one in the same and create the perfect trifecta of experience, product and people. I’m curious, what do you think Andrew?
