Anyone recognize this font? We had the pleasure of curating the artwork for the Department of Neurosurgery at Washington University in St. Louis. One of the goals was for us to find a way to highlight the department's mission statement in a way that would make people stop and really consider the importance of their work on a daily basis. Who better to create a dimensional piece with text than Matthew Hoffman?! We've always wanted to work with Matthew and bringing him on this was an absolute no-brainer. And of course, he nailed it. 30"h x 80w" - Make a Difference. More to come from this project...

Zygomatic Bone Zones The anatomy of the zygomatic bone may be more detailed than you think. Following on from my pterygoid implant classification, I developed a zoning of the zygomatic bone for the surgical placement of zygomatic implants. This was developed in around 2018 during my doctorate thesis but was only published a year or so ago. Link to get free access to this peer reviewed paper: https://lnkd.in/eY9W5Z54

I would like to share a new milestone in the development of the master's program at Unifesp - Universidade Federal de São Paulo I’m developing a script that proposes surgical planning for ankle fractures. At this stage of the process, I’m creating an algorithm capable of correctly positioning the screws used to fix the medial fragment to the tibia. Initially, in the script, the user selects the side of the tibia and the number of screws to be used, based on the choice of the qualified professional. The script then correctly positions the screws, based on important anatomical landmarks. Video: Author.
