Hey everyone! Happy Easter! In the spirit of new beginnings and growth, I wanted to share some exciting news with you all. Remember that exhilarating news about landing a Zuri internship in the backend development track with Node.js? Well, two weeks in, and the journey has officially begun! (Sorry for the recent radio silence – been busy leveling up my coding skills!)
Leveling Up My JavaScript Skills
This first month has been an amazing ride. I've been diving deep into the core concepts of JavaScript through the JS100 modules. From understanding variables and data types to mastering conditionals and control flow, it's been a whirlwind of learning opportunities. We (well, I!) delved into the intricacies of functions, exploring their power in code organization and reusability.
But that was just the tip of the iceberg! With JS100B, I took my understanding of functions to new heights, learning advanced techniques and best practices. And let's not forget about my foray into the world of file manipulation with Basic100, where I got hands-on experience working with files and folders.
Beyond Code: Understanding the Tech Landscape
One thing I've come to appreciate during this journey is the importance of understanding not just the code itself, but also the broader tech landscape. From brushing up on basic computer terminologies to exploring the vast resources available for aspiring developers, every step has been enlightening. This well-rounded approach equips me to not only write code but also understand the context in which it operates.
Learning in Real Time: Challenges and Growth
Now, I won't sugarcoat it – the learning journey hasn't been all smooth sailing. Balancing learning with other commitments, like blog posts and social media updates, has been a challenge. But here's the thing: every setback is an opportunity for growth. Embracing the journey means embracing the ups and downs, knowing that each hurdle only makes me stronger in the end.
