It's so nice to see companies like Amplify recognizing the significant role that language proficiency plays in reading comprehension. Recognizing and identifying existing transferable literacy skills from a student's first language is key to and maximizing instructional time and resources.

I would love to see dual language assessment of our ESOL population in several subjects so we can place them correctly and offer them a sound and comprehensive education with opportunity beyond high school.
