One year ago, we embarked on a mission with Amerigroup to combat hunger in Clayton County through our Goodr Grocery Store at Pointe South Middle School. We celebrate over 1,600 visits, 56,000 meals, and 24,000 pounds of food distributed. "This partnership with Goodr has been a cornerstone in providing essential relief and support to families over the past year." Mel Lindsey, President of Amerigroup Georgia. In Georgia, where over 1.1 million people, including 335,000 children, grapple with food insecurity, our collaboration is making a significant impact. She goes on to say, “The whole health of the communities we serve is at the heart of our mission and given the close connection between hunger and health, we’re always looking for ways to tackle this challenge. And it’s through innovative partnerships like this one with Goodr that they are making a real impact in the health and nutritional needs of some of our most underserved communities.
