There are a lot of scammers out there, and the best way to protect yourself from potential fraud is to stay vigilant. These scams can seem very realistic, so arm yourself with this important information from AmeriGas and keep yourself from falling victim to fraud: At no time will AmeriGas ask for payments or payment information via online chat or social media by asking you to make payments via Zelle or Cash App. You will only ever be directed to make a payment through approved channels. Customers should ONLY make payments through these approved channels: Pay your bill via your online account at MyAmeriGas.com. If you have not created your MyAmeriGas account, visit MyAmeriGas.com/Register and register using your account number or contact information.  Pay by check or money order mailed directly to the address on your invoice with the envelope provided with your invoice. If you do not have your invoice, please include your AmeriGas account number on your check/money order and mail it to:  AmeriGas    PO Box 37143    Pittsburgh, PA 15250  Pay by phone by calling our customer service center at 1 (800) 263-7442. Below are the payment methods currently accepted by AmeriGas: Checking/Savings Account, Credit/Debit Card, PayPal or Check or money order. Please note our drivers do not accept payments at delivery locations. We accept all major credit cards*: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. PayPal is available within MyAmeriGas only.  For more information about paying your bill, including step by step instructions, please visit https://lnkd.in/eKkrtvrK. And remember, if you’re speaking to someone online or over the phone who says they’re from AmeriGas, and something doesn’t feel right, please contact our customer service center at 1 (800) 263-7442 and NEVER give out any payment information until you have verified you are speaking to an AmeriGas representative.
