On my journey to greater mental health, I've learned that our minds, the thing you cannot see, taste, smell, hear, touch, controls so much about how you perceive others, your response to stressful situations, and how you value YOURSELF! For example, let's say you're in traffic and someone cuts you off and hurries down the highway.... Which response will you choose? 1) "The audacity! I'm going to catch up and give a piece of my mind!" 2) "I hope everything is OK. Maybe they're having a family emergency." 3) "I cannot stand ignorant drivers! Why are they always on the road when I am driving?!" Which response do you feel will prevent you from ruining your own day? #mentalhealthmatters #selfcontrol #mindovermatter
