FTC voted for near-compete ban on employee noncompetes today. Three things that were not surprising: (1) 3-2 vote along party lines. (2) Rule didn't change that much from Jan 2023 draft. (3) Only limited exceptions in sale of business and for existing noncompetes for "senior executives". Full analysis coming soon...

I missed the Kelce brothers' New Heights podcast from the University of Cincinnati last night, but I got to spend today with colleagues and friends at the University of Cincinnati Foundation's spring board meeting led by the amazing Leigh Fox. Our Bearcats are doing wonderful things on and off the football field! We heard about cutting edge developments in patient care and research in #als from Dr. Robert Neel at UCHealth's Gardner Neuroscience Institute. This is impact! This is the power of philanthropy!
