What makes a great team… even greater? It’s been a pleasure to spend time with colleagues this week reflecting on our shared successes and challenging ourselves about how to enable high performance and capture growth opportunities. I wanted to share a few areas that have really stood out for me: • Clarity of purpose is the foundation of any great team. In a fast-paced work environment, it’s easy to get distracted or stick to what you’ve always done – but having a clear ‘North Star’ in terms of strategy and purpose helps us grow individually and collectively. • Welcome challenge and stay curious. It’s sometimes tempting to think that our teams crave an all-knowing ‘Superhero CEO’ but adopting a beginner’s mindset that asks the right questions and learns from others is much more effective in driving performance, fostering creativity and solving problems. • You’ve got to keep developing new muscles. The skills that got us to this point won’t be the same as those that will take us to the next level. Take AI and machine learning, for example: we are only at the start of this journey which can seem complex and daunting, but investing time and effort in learning about these frontier technologies helps us future-proof our business and grow as leaders. I’d love to know if these resonate with you. A huge thanks to Barry O'Byrne for bringing our leaders together this week and to the brilliant Andy Tan from Atome for helping us understand how to encourage a growth mindset. #Growth #People

Thanks for sharing, and agree. To keep moving forward, we need to have a clarity of purpose, remain inquisitive and keep learning new skills. All these are definitely the key components of having a ‘growth mindset’.
