I am pleased to announce the publication of our latest research paper in IEEE Access, a Q1 journal. The paper, titled “LivMarX: An Optimized Low-Cost Predictive Model using Biomarkers for Interpretable Liver Cirrhosis Stage Classification,” is now available on IEEE Xplore. You can read it here: https://lnkd.in/dbX4nqbF . This research presents an innovative and cost-effective model that leverages biomarkers to provide interpretable classifications of liver cirrhosis stages. Our model not only aims to enhance early detection and treatment but also strives to be accessible and implementable in resource-limited settings, potentially transforming the landscape of liver cirrhosis diagnosis and management. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to my co-authors, Kushal Pendekanti and Dr. Divya Rao for their invaluable contributions and dedication to this project. This achievement would not have been possible without their expertise and collaboration. #Research #Healthcare #LiverCirrhosis #MachineLearning #IEEEAccess #Biomarkers #PredictiveModel

It is fantastic to be back in Switzerland on my way from Zürch to Basel🇨🇭. This is Moa Persson and my second trip down here in a couple of months and the reason is that things are just happening here! The biotech sector seems to be exploding all over this region, with both mastodons of the medical world being here, but also a vast and flourishing ecosystem of smaller start-up's as well as exciting research being done at Universities. This is just the place for Symcel to be and from our meetings with academics and companies, we have a platform that is a perfect fit for this ecosystem! So much work is being done into the research of new #antimicrobials, #phages, and #celltherapy, that our solutions for complex in-vivo-like model systems as well as fast and sensitive detection of bacteria are a perfect match. This will not be our last trip down here! We are ready for so much more synergy with these amazing clusters of #biotechnologyindustry

When challenges arise in the lab, multiplexing delivers. For decades, scientists have sought better ways to research the correlation between the gut microbiome and overall patient health. However, obtaining precise measurements of bacterial groups in the gut microbiome posed challenges due to the need for advanced and expensive technology. Discover, in our most recent white paper, how xMAP Technology was used to create a platform that enabled researchers to measure 48 bacterial taxonomic groups in both gastrointestinal patients and healthy individuals, empowering scientists with the technology needed to develop advanced, affordable testing solutions. #guthealth #biotech #healthscience Find out more in our white paper: https://hubs.li/Q02jRzxC0

As 2023 draws to a close, we are thrilled to reflect on the incredible journey we have had this year at Cellino! This year has been a banner year for our company, and while we can’t capture everything in a single post, here are some key highlights: 📌 Our team made strong technical progress across all tracks, and we grew the team to 55 Cellineers to power our autonomous biomanufacturing platform for personalized regenerative medicine. 📌 Hosting the inaugural Personalized RegenMed Forum was a fantastic experience. The Forum underscored not only that the global personalized regenerative medicine ecosystem is poised for significant growth—with 5 INDs approved, but also that by convening and addressing challenges collectively, we will all move faster together. 📌 It was an honor for our CEO Nabiha Saklayen to speak at the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine workshop on Automation and Algorithms in Regenerative Medicine Manufacturing. Cellino is all-in on the need for AI and automation to bring scale to the biomanufacturing industry. 📌 What a privilege to join the Future of Health Summit panel on cell therapy innovation and costs alongside Peter Marks of the FDA! 🚀 The convergence of biology, engineering, and AI will bring great advancements in personalized regenerative medicine, and we are proud to address this challenge and extend lifespan and healthspan for patients. 📌 Winning the ARPA-H Dash Scalable Solutions category showed that the public is excited about the bright future that Cellino is building to bring “Your Cells, Your Cure” to patients—and we’re excited, too! 📌 Our team traversed the globe this year to explore collaboration opportunities and share Cellino’s vision, from coast to coast across the U.S. to Japan, France, South Korea, Finland, and beyond. It has been an amazing year that has brought us deep gratitude for pursuing our bold mission, and we are pumped for 2024. Let’s go! 🚀🚀 #CellinoBio #YearinReview #Biotech #Biotechnology #BiotechInnovation #Healthcare #LifeSciences #Innovation #Collaboration #Team #Biomanufacturing #PersonalizedMedicine #Therapeutics #RegenMed #YourCellsYourCure
