No they aren't. There needs to be more support post diagnosis. We understand there's no cure for us, but what about our health and well-being? Currently, we are just "parked" in the "life-limiting illness" category and ignored.

I agree with Peter! If you’re interested, take a look (and please do join!!) our ReableDem LinkedIn Group. You will see that people who are living with dementia have the right to reablement services, including cognitive, physical, social and emotional rehabilitation. The SCIE briefing document issued in 2020 states that they should be offered this service but how many are receiving it? And how many are aware that cognitive rehabilitation is possible?

Absolutely not!! We have a massive tsunami approaching that will likely destroy many healthcare systems and both parties are sound asleep.

Not just Dementia, but Age Care. Dementia may be a dominant area, however, a lot of non Dementia folks get left out in between. Get more for one of the largest population groups in UK.
