🎉 Employee Spotlight: Celebrating Maria O’Connor’s’ Appointment as Marketing Director, Americas! 🎉 🎤 Blitz Interview with Maria: Insights into #LifeAtStoli What initially drew you to Stoli, and how has your journey been since joining the company?   I had the opportunity to work on STOLI and Elit over 15 years ago when the brands were already considered the benchmark for flavored vodkas and for defining the ultra-premium vodka category. Learning more about the relaunch of STOLI and the company’s expanded portfolio drew me back. My journey this past year has been fast paced and dynamic, offering new challenges and opportunities every day. Can you share a memorable moment or project during your time at Stoli that stands out to you?   Recently, our first in person Americas Marketing team meeting was memorable. Getting to know each other and enjoying several meals together on a more informal basis allowed for a bonding opportunity, strengthening the overall camaraderie, and building trust: all important principles to driving collaboration and success of the team. How would you describe the culture and work environment at Stoli?   Dynamic entrepreneurial spirit is how I would describe Stoli’s culture and environment. Through creativity, determination and passion, individuals can make impactful decisions daily to drive the business forward.  We have a wonderfully talented and diverse group at Stoli. Together, we can achieve remarkable results. In what ways has Stoli supported your professional development and growth?   After initially coming onboard as Regional Marketing Leader, I found myself in a unique position to transition into a leadership role which has given me more responsibility and exposure to the Executive Team. Developing the short and long term marketing strategy for our team has been a challenging and rewarding experience, allowing me the opportunity for both professional and personal growth.   How does Stoli foster a sense of community among its employees? At Stoli, we are committed to working together, fostering a sense of belonging and cultivating an environment of trust. A recent team building experience reinforced this spirit where we respected different viewpoints and made sure everyone's voice was heard. Say hello 👋 to Caspar MacRae, CEO & President at The Glenmorangie Company, and this week’s incredible #IndustryInspiration! Caspar’s career has been driven by curiosity and passion, starting out as a Whisky Brand Ambassador, ultimately leading to his current role as the CEO at The Glenmorangie Company. Caspar shares, “Glenmorangie was my Dad’s favourite single malt and Dr. Bill Lumsden was one of my first industry heroes – so I feel very privileged and fortunate to have this role.” Offering insight into his role as CEO, Caspar explains, “When I first started as an Ambassador, I saw the CEO as the person who gets to do what they want with a brand and company. Now that I find myself in that position, I realise that it’s my job to be in service of the 300+ talented people who work here. The effort they put in, the passion they have, and the creativity they bring – it’s my role to ensure what they do is directed in a way that makes the brands successful, and means the team have the growth and personal development opportunities they deserve.” Speaking on his love for the brand, Caspar shares, “People – behind every single bottle of Glenmorangie and Ardbeg stands a community of craftspeople, creatives and team members united behind a purpose of creating and sharing great whisky experiences. In many cases their families have been doing this for generations. “The way that they take care of each other, strive to get better and celebrate each other’s success – it’s infectious.” The future looks bright for Caspar as he shares his short and long-term goals, “We have ambitious goals! We want Glenmorangie to be the most delicious and inventive whisky in the world. We want Ardbeg to be recognised as the best smoky whisky in the world. We would like our company to be the best place to work in Scotland. “It’s a competitive world, so those goal posts will keep moving, but that’s the exciting challenge and we need to continue to stretch ourselves to get there.” To conclude, Caspar shares some advice to fellow hospitality professionals, “I think that customer-facing roles are the best possible ‘training ground’ for future industry leaders. You understand the realities of how consumers learn, choose and enjoy our brands. You understand the challenges of our hospitality trade partners. “When I took myself to business school I was so much better equipped to match theory with real world experience thanks to my time as an ambassador. So realise that wherever you are in your career, there is a lot to learn, but don’t discount the unique value of what you already understand!” We congratulate Caspar on his incredible achievements in the industry and wish him continues success in the future!

We're proud to introduce another #WeightPacker: Andrea A., our Area Sales Manager. 1) Andrea, what are you in charge of at WeightPack? I have been working in WeightPack since 2021. I’m responsible for the commercial management of Latin markets. I am particularly attached especially to Latin America where I have lived and worked for a long time. I feel a lot of affinity with the culture and way of life of these countries: the thing I like the most is their ability to appreciate the simplicity of things; traveling for work to all Latin countries is like returning to a second home, they are all places where I feel good. 2) What do you love the most about your work at WeightPack? The thing I most appreciate about working at WeightPack is the possibility of always having an open discussion between #colleagues and managers. I can always actively participate in the definition and implementation of company projects. The other aspect that I love about my job is that by #traveling I have the opportunity to interact and get to know new people and new realities; to manage the bond with clients, which in the course of my professional experience has also often been humanly enriching. 3) What do you like to do when you are not traveling? I love walking in #nature, taking time to give attention to the things that in everyday life we do not have time to experience, enjoying the beauties we have around us.
