Here’s how we consistently drive an increase for better quality leads for our client: Experimenting. Sometimes in business, playing it safe feels like the easiest option. But ultimately this is what leads to a lack of growth and development. At Candyspace we’ve adopted a ‘test and learn’ culture to ensure we are constantly innovating and giving the best results possible to our clients. For Mazda, we recently used advanced behavioural analytic tools such as Contentsquare & Google Analytics to track not just clicks, but also hover times on specific buttons or content items. Using our research and A/B tests we were able to implement a new UX which delivers better on the clients' strategic objectives. Synchronous front-end analytics is often overlooked by business and product teams, due to myopic obsession over measuring lagging indicators like onboarding conversion, unique visitors, CTRs, and more. Assess the market opportunity ↳ Create surveys to test market needs and customer preferences. You can also use Helio to analyze competitive positioning by gathering data on competitor products from your target audience. Stress test the concept with real users ↳ Launch usability tests using screenshots, interactive elements, or videos of your product concept to gather feedback on user experience and potential pain points. Create prototypes and mockups ↳ Share visuals of your prototypes or mockups from Figma to gauge user reactions and collect qualitative feedback on design and functionality. We recently came across an article from Ken Rudin that emphasizes the importance of optimizing existing features for accelerating growth rather than constantly adding new ones. He introduces the ARIA framework, which stands for Analyze, Reduce, Introduce, and Assist, to systematically increase engagement with key product features. Companies can drive significant growth by analyzing usage data, reducing friction, introducing features in context, and assisting users in their journey. Ken gives examples of how the framework has been successfully applied in various tech companies, highlighting that enhancing current features often yields better results than launching new ones. Here are the steps, including ways you can use Helio: Analyze ↳ Examine how users interact with existing features to identify areas for improvement. Use Helio to gather and analyze user feedback and behavior data on existing features. Surveys and usability tests should be conducted to understand how users interact with the product and identify pain points. We comfort reason-minded visitors with hard statistics confirming your excellence. Meanwhile, we use analogies rooted in shared experiences to nurture connection on a personal level. For example, likening your rapid analytics to the instant feedback of pressing buttons in a busy crosswalk. Visitors intrinsically understand that immediate cause-and-effect confirmation, envisioning how your real-time reports help them course correctly right when they need it. We reference cultural touch points like popular movies or tech to tap into schemas visitors already developed. This familiarity helps them quickly grasp concepts that may otherwise seem abstract like algorithm optimization and predictive migration. Our analogies transform your otherwise foreign solutions into something recognizable and relatable. And people inherently trust what feels relatable.
