Risks of heat illness can include dehydration, obesity, certain medications, alcohol or drug use, inexperience, and heavy clothing. Remember, knowing the signs can save you or your coworker. Low blood sugar, or hypoglycemia, can be caused by various factors, including Alcohol consumption - Drinking alcohol, especially on an empty stomach or in excess, can lower blood sugar levels.
