We will be expecting dangerously hot weather this week! Exposure to heat may lead to heat cramps, heat exhaustion, heat stroke, and can even be fatal. Prevent illness from exposure to heat by recognizing heat hazards. Symptoms are dizziness, feeling cold, stomach pain, having trouble breathing and not sweating. Take into account the physical activity you will be doing, and if it's outside on a hot and humid day, stay hydrated, wear lightweight clothing, cover your head/skin from the sun, and take necessary breaks to cool down and drink plenty of water, no energy drinks or coffee. If you are not feeling well, or are experiencing any unusual symptoms this can be a sign of overheating and you should seek first aid. #staysafe #heatwave #constructionsafety #summerheat #gojcm #safetyfirst
