Unpopular opinion… you can have it all… most of the time 💜 Entering week three of Techstars Atlanta Powered by Cox Enterprises I feel rested, prepared, and ready for Monday. Here’s why: 1. Rest: I truly took time to unwind on Friday evening and Saturday morning. 2. Joy: I did something that brought me joy, completely unrelated to LiQUiD . I believe in balancing hard work, rest, and adventure. (☑️ off a bucket list item: I took a solo cooking class with Cozymeal, Inc. !) 3. Preparation: I prepared for the week ahead. This included meal prepping, setting goals, clearing my emails, and getting grounded. Finding this balance has been key to feeling ready and energized. 💜

A very happy 2024 kickoff to all fellow entrepreneurs out there! This is that time of year where we really get to think about how we want to review, revamp, and revitalize our businesses for the coming year. I am here to help. It was 10 years ago today… I walked into the Spredfast office in Downtown Austin (sweaty from the 100+ heat) and excited to get started in a new job. It has felt like 3 different companies and 10 different jobs. I’ve been part of building, experimenting, integrating, rebooting, and so much more. I have worn many hats and titles. Time flies when you’re having fun! 😎 My top 10 lessons from this crazy tech adventure (so far!): 1. Change is constant. Jump into the current and adapt.  2. Develop relationships in all directions. Because there will always be change, it helps to have allies.  3. If you see something, DO something. If you see a problem or opportunity, don’t just talk about it, put together a plan and take action.  4. Be curious. Never stop learning.   5. Build a portfolio of experience. Just look at my winding career 😉  6. Clarity. You’ve heard “clear is kind.” It’s also essential to make progress with customers, coworkers, projects, etc.  7. If you have the privilege to lead people, get out the way. Clear obstacles and help launch them.  8. The world is small and connected, so don’t burn bridges.  9. They say speed wins. That’s true for a sprint. I think consistency wins the marathon of building a company and a career.  10. Leave things better than you find them. People, projects, departments. I’m grateful for awesome mentors like Virginia Miracle, Jim Rudden, Dan Doman, Gemma Craven, Greg Martinez, Doug Grigg and many others!
