🇪🇸 Last week Allye had the privilege of participating in the Free Electrons Program Boot Camp held in Madrid and hosted by EDP. 🔋 Our Concept Development Director, Jacob Hopkins, represented the team and held pilot discussions with CLP, EDP, E.ON, ESB, Hydro Québec, JERA Co., Inc. and Origin Energy to deploy the MAX as a solution to various on-grid and off-grid challenges facing the utilities. 🌍 The opportunities discussed served to further demonstrate the potential for the MAX to lower costs, solve constraints, decarbonise and democratise access to energy. 👏 Thank you to Beta-i • collaborative innovation and all the utilities for organising such an exciting and innovative program, full of insight, inspiration and impact. It was great to be part of such an amazing cohort of startups, each reflecting the strength and depth of global innovation in the energy transition. 🌍 All the startups and utilities shared one common desire: to power the future of energy through collaboration and partnership.

Our leadership sees the opportunity in #LastMile transit + the possible partnerships across industries + communities. Infrastructure for the future that is bold, innovative + scalable requires thoughtful interconnections with our energy systems. All of this underscores a future with less carbon.
At Con Edison, we are committed to being future-driven and constantly seek out ways to leverage new and evolving technologies to offer more energy-efficient solutions. It is our mission to explore innovative approaches that can revolutionize the energy landscape and pave the way for a sustainable future. On June 12th, we had the privilege of hosting six promising startup companies, giving them the platform to pitch their ideas on how they can contribute value in key areas such as Transport Electrification, Building Decarbonization, and the showcase of cutting-edge technologies that have the potential to reshape the energy market. This initiative underscores our dedication to fostering innovation and collaboration within the industry. We are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and remain committed to driving positive change through the adoption of new technologies. Big congratulations to Blip Energy, Edo, Perch Mobility, Inc, Treeswift, Singularity Energy on a job well done! 📷 Joe Morreale, Sean Umland, Eric Davis and Michael Badeski

FirstLight is so proud to be a finalist for the NECEC Partnership of the Year Award for our collaboration with Energy New England (ENE) to deliver clean energy to New England municipalities! The partnership began in 2020 with a power purchase agreement with ENE to deliver clean energy to 21 municipal utilities, which, at the time, represented the largest renewable energy purchase by municipal utilities in New England history. In 2022, we expanded our agreement, with 13 municipal utilities agreeing to purchase an additional 110+ gigawatt hours per year of clean energy produced by two of FirstLight’s hydroelectric facilities in Connecticut. Senior Partner (Co-Founder) Nordic Alpha Partners | PrivateEquity | EconomicSustainability | GreenTech | #ESwarrior
STABL Energy is the perfect example of how innovation enables the acceleration of the global #GreenTransition, based on #EconomicSustainability. The pure definition of #BCSA innovation. STABL Energy has redefined the core architecture of how to build battery storage systems, inspired by neurology (or similar to the LAN mesh networking technology architecture pioneered by Hewlett Packard Enterprise), enabling them to take old/used batteries from EVs and not only build new battery systems, but do this with increase stability and lower cost, compared to a new battery system. #TechnologyInnovation, that enables the conversion, of one of the largest and most problematic waste streams (worn-out EV batteries), into a competitive edge and offering, that introduce a substantially more cost-effective acceleration to a #NetZero energy infrastructure, is truly revolutionary. At Nordic Alpha Partners we are happy to welcome STABL Energy into our family of GreenTech pioneers, #ESwarriors and market leaders, missioned to safely lead the world to NetZero and Economic Sustainability. Great news! We are happy to announce that Nordic Alpha Partners has made the second investment in fund II in the energy storage company, STABL Energy GmbH. ♻️ STABL’s unique technology has the potential to redefine the core architecture of battery systems, as it both removes the risk of instability, while enabling the adoption of used EV batteries for battery storage systems, essentially setting a new standard of convenient, cost-effective, reliable and highly sustainable resource efficient battery storage. 🚀 Nordic Alpha Partners is lead investor in the 15 mEUR financing round together with STABL's already strong investors, UVC Partners Energie 360°, and new cooperation with the European Innovation Council (EIC). The funding shall enable STABL to scale the business internationally. Senior Partner, Rasmus Lund, says: “For us, STABL Energy is one of the most promising #GreenTech companies in the European storage market. We fully share the company’s vision and look forward to supporting the four founders and team in their journey from European technology pioneer to global market leader.” Link to press announcement: https://shorturl.at/eCMZ5 Link to article: https://lnkd.in/e7dQ2hyt Dr. Arthur Singer, Dr. Nam Truong, Martin Sprehe, Christoph Dietrich, Johannes von Borries, Amanda Birkenholz, Svetoslava Georgieva, Ruth E.
