The RACP welcomes the public release of the final report of the Mid-Term Review of the National Health Reform Agreement (NHRA) Addendum 2020-2025. The final report stresses many of the issues raised in the College submission to ensure the NHRA operates as a whole of health system agreement to deliver the right care, in the right place, at the right time. These include the need for the future agreement to embed health care financing models that are fit for purpose to deliver optimal integrated models of care across all levels of the health sector, strengthen governance and accountability through a robust performance framework and directly address the rising burden of chronic disease through prevention activities.
