I worked without a day off for two years, eventually only taking Christmas day off because I couldn't afford to lose even $1 of revenue. However, it cost me my health, relationships, and friendships. A Failure I Had Today: It’s the weekend, and I had a long & tough week of work, so I decided to make something I’ve made probably 100 times before: homemade pasta. It’s one of my favorite ways to get out my frustration and anger; almost putting it to good use. Nobody complains about homemade pasta! Except today was odd; because it was the first time I failed at making it. Like I’ve said, I’ve made this dough MANY many times. And no matter how I tried to fix this one, the dough was still too tough, too crumbly and too hard. It doesn’t matter how many times you’ve done something in life, some tasks are not as easy as riding a bike. Some tasks are not easily repeated. You can follow all of the steps, implement different solutions, but sometimes it doesn’t work. You have to be at peace with the fact that you tried. There are times in life where you don’t know where things went wrong…you have to throw out your pasta dough and start over. And the work you put into the last batch wasn’t “for nothing”. Remember to be kind to yourself. The world around you doesn’t always follow the recipe. There are more eggs & flour, and there are more weekends to try it again.

Her job is to pick up freshly baked bread from the bakery to sell at the Market, set up the store booth and SHOW UP for her customers. Even in the face of the storm, she is there, with a smile on her face. She will show up. No matter what. If her customers are expecting her, she will show up. This is my daughter. This I’m not one to slate a competitor but throw rocks I can. I would ask all my consultations what they had tried and meal boxes were the number one thing that always came up. These meal box service became public enemy number one. So as part of my messaging I would throw rocks at these companies. I would point out everything that was wrong with them and my leads loved it. Yes they would say. You’re absolutely right, their portions are too small. And Yes, the produce isn’t any good. Think about who your enemy is and pelt them with rocks.
