Enjoyed speaking on the Pink Petro: Women in Energy panel at the F3Fest Inclusive Tech Summit today! Thank you ladies for a great discussion! Lisa RainLisa P.Jenny Jaegal
✨ JERA's Managing Executive Officer in charge of Corporate Enterprise Value Creation, Ms. Minako Fujiie, participated in the 26th World Energy Congress held in Rotterdam and joined her fellow panelists on the "Activating Diversity: Women in Energy 360" panel.
During the panel discussion, Ms. Fujiie highlighted that, in today's rapidly changing and uncertain world, having a diverse range of options can serve as a hedge against risks, and innovative options will not be available without embedding diversity and inclusivity in our business culture. It's more crucial than ever for teams and individuals to step out of our comfort zone and actively explore new fields and strengthen interactions. We must create our unique path to a more inclusive and innovative future.

The energy level is high among the womxn @ tado° these days ⚡
Our diverse community of #WomenInTech got together with an impressive number of #MaleAllies (including our CEO Dr. Philip Beckmann 🤩) to look into #GenderDiversity research and tado° numbers and discuss the opportunities diverse teams offer.
❓Did you know that having more women in a team significantly increases group intelligence? Not because they’re smarter 😉 Simply because they are better at ensuring that everybody gets heard (research by Chabris, Woolley, Malone at MIT)!
🧠 Today, we are starting a brainstorm about what we as a company but also each of the teams and each of the colleagues can do to get more women on board and to better support their careers at tado° so we can actually benefit from those opportunities!
After all, we’ve got an important mission to accomplish: reduce energy consumption and drive the green energy transition! 🌱

As we navigate through the defining challenges of our time, the role of women in shaping the future of #climatetechnology has never been more crucial. The intersection of gender diversity and innovation holds the key to unlocking transformative solutions to our planet's most pressing issues. Our General Partner, Priya Shah, also highlighted in the recent annual publication of ORF "Raisina Files" the importance of the role of women's entrepreneurship in climate change.(link: https://lnkd.in/ezBFQfUw)
Women bring diverse perspectives, inclusive solutions, and enhanced collaboration, and their #leadership, #creativity, and #resilience are indispensable in our collective quest for a sustainable future. We wish all the women founders, investors, and stakeholders in climate tech a happy International Women's Day. Together, we can drive the change needed to protect our planet for generations to come. Let's all be part of that change.

👋 Introducing our Founders
With it being International Women's Day, we only felt right introducing you to our Founders and touch on what WOT means to them.
Kenzie Morris,
Vice President - USA
"The reason we created WOT was to inspire and empower more women to pursue a career within the Renewable Energy industry. Today, the US renewable energy industry only employs 22% women. Within the industry, women's participation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) jobs is far lower. Our main goal at Women of TODAY is to empower like-minded women to pursue a career in the Renewable Energy space. WOT is an organization where we have created mentorship programs, career support, and resume-building for females to enter the energy industry.
I'm extremely passionate about WOT because I love helping and supporting women. I first noticed a gap in female representation in this industry when I went to my first solar/wind conference. There were over 7000 attendee’s and the majority were male. I could not believe the lack of representation of females and people of color. This got me thinking, we as females need to do more to inspire like-minded women to pursue a career in the energy industry! Which is why we created the women of today! Our main goal at WOT is to create a healthy, supportive environment for women to join and feel as though they can break gender boundaries in this industry!"
Katelyn Young ACIM,
Group Marketing & Communications Manager
"For me, WOT focuses on the right here right now, we want to tackle the underrepresentation of women in Renewable Energy and empower them to pursue careers in this space.
We have something special at Samuel Knight, we take the time to understand our community and have already helped so many organisations with their DE&I, we only felt right to enhance this further with WOT.
If everyone is committed to partaking in the movement, we would achieve equal representation and strengthen the Renewables ecosystem.”
We have a lot of exciting announcements in the next couple of weeks but let's take today as reflection and set our commitment for a better tomorrow.
