BLACK STRINGS directed by Marquise Mays is an official selection at The MARCH ON WASHINGTON FILM FESTIVAL From Sept 24th - Oct 1st, in Washington, D.C or online nationwide. BLACK STRINGS will play in front of visionaries at the forefront of the Civil Rights Movement including gospel music legend Yolanda Adams and composer & musical director Tamar Kali and experience the profound influence of remarkable special guests U.S. Senator Raphael Warnock and Reverend Al Sharpton. This year’s theme explores the role of the Church, its preachers and protest leaders of the Civil Rights Movement, and the impact on activism today.
