Recruiting strategies are constantly evolving as society changes. Today's job seekers are looking for flexible work arrangements and robust parental leave policies. The best way to think about your recruitment strategy is to ask: How can we create a culture that supports employees regardless of what's happening in their lives? A great benefit example is a breastfeeding suite for new moms. It's a win-win for mothers, their children, and their workplaces. #Recruitment #TalentAcquisition #HR

Parental leave for all, right? It shouldn't be a punishment for moms or something that scares dads away. Think of it as an investment in your fam - more bonding time for everyone, and happier employees when you get back. We gotta ditch the whole "primary caregiver" stuff, too. Parental leave is about sharing the responsibility, no matter what your family looks like. Inclusive policies are key here! The more we talk about this, the more normal it becomes for dads to take leave. Plus, companies that offer awesome parental leave packages attract top talent, win-win! So, how do we make this happen? Should we push companies to offer more, or should the government step in with some kind of law? Finally, Noah W. | Neelie Verlinden | Sophie Hedestad discussion is incredibly insightful to me. 🌟 Supporting mothers in the workplace isn't just the right thing to do—it's good for business too! 🏢💼 Research shows that policies like paid maternity leave and flexible work arrangements not only attract and retain top talent but also save companies significant costs associated with turnover. During the pandemic, caregivers, predominantly women, faced unprecedented challenges balancing work and family responsibilities. Many were forced to leave the workforce, resulting in a loss of valuable talent. By implementing supportive policies and fostering an inclusive environment, employers can empower working parents to thrive professionally while caring for their families. From paid parental leave to Employee Resource Groups and flexible work arrangements, there are various ways companies can support mothers in the workplace. By prioritizing the well-being of caregivers, businesses not only enhance employee morale and productivity but also contribute to a more equitable and sustainable workforce. 💪👩💼 #SupportWorkingMoms #WorkplaceEquality #BusinessBenefits #humanresources #hr #recruitment #business #hiring #humanresourcesmanagement #recruiting #jobs #leadership #career #job #employment #work #management #payroll #staffing #recruiter #training #hrmanagement #trivalley #california #bayarea #usa #losangeles #ignitehrsolutions #ignitehrrecruiting

Interesting report for employers and some shocking stats from employees like follows: -Almost two-thirds of working mothers report their career promotions have been blocked -Working mothers are four times more likely than working fathers to miss negotiated pay raises. From an employee perspective if any of these resonate with you perhaps it is time to look for a move and we'd love to hear from you. Similarly employers if you need help in attracting a diverse workforce we'd also love to hear from you.
