***I have been working with LinkedIn to figure out why my Berlin post kept getting an error message and wasn't posting (they don't know why), so after months of back and fourth I decided to change it*** I arrived home from Berlin on Friday evening and Saturday morning went to get a puppy (yes, that was my 4/20) so just finally catching up on emails and sleep. Sharing some quick thoughts/shoutouts before I post an article here on my insights from InternationalCBC #Berlin – lookout for it after the summer. First off, big shoutout to my panelists! I ended up moderating four panels, one more than previously planned after the intended moderator lost her voice. Fortunately for me it was a very interesting panel with Bernard Yeung, MBAPaul Long, Benjamin Patock 🇩🇪🇬🇧🇫🇷🇪🇸 and Susanne Caspar on how cannabis can shift to be more like conventional industries. For those on my other 3 panels I already gave you a shoutout along with some other great people that were coming out to the event - https://lnkd.in/gRN_HRnB Now a few things from Berlin: - Social clubs…people need to stop calling them that! There is nothing social about them and they’re more like “anti-social, social clubs”. Also, a lot more info is needed to know and fast…things like can growing be outsourced? Can members leave the country with their product? How much different will these clubs look from state to state? - Every year a new company hosts an amazing dinner and I am privileged to be invited - this year it was Origine Nature. I was invited by my new buddy Alexandre Gauthier and his awesome team (check out the picture and I tagged some of the people that were there). I am very impressed with what I am seeing out of Quebec in both quality of product and people. - Received a lot of positive feedback from attendees and exhibitors this year. That’s based on a few factors including the amazing team at ICBC, cannabis becoming more accepted around the world, German legalization efforts and the three year international strategy I’ve been telling people about. - And speaking of the team from ICBC…they did an amazing job as usual even with more people then ever attending. Shoutout to Alex RogersJessie CorriganNoelle K.Krisha SeateElizaveta Zharikova and the rest of the team. Look out for my article with thoughts from my time in Berlin coming soon. Thank you to those that came out and made this the largest cannabis b2b event in European history and I’m already looking forward to next years event on April 29-30 (mark your calendars)!

***Apologies to my Linkedin community*** The above post was what I was working on with LinkedIn so that I can post once they figured out why I couldn't post it. So after months of back and fourth they decided to post it without my approval and on a Saturday night! This is annoying and frustrating but what's done is done...now I need to add 2 more pictures here and since they didn't tag the people in pictures like I intended (and it can't be edited now without deleting the and re-posting) I will put the tags/info in the comments here: - Alex Rogers kicking things off at Global Investor Forum and below is a picture from my panel I moderated there with Calvin Rasode, Peter Homberg, Justin Tombe and then a group shot of our impromptu mini-walking tour heading to the after-party with Stephanie Pow, David Hyde, M.Sc, CPC, Beau Whitney, Mariana L., Ian A. Rassman, Pasquale Modica-Amore, Maryna Shapovalova, Nicolas Mendoza Peña, Claudia Della Mora, Giadha Aguirre de Carcer, Adriaan de Kroo, Viviana Cervieri, Juba Hadid, Francesco B.
