The other is a real photo of the WARC team at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and when I look at it, I'm filled with immense pride, gratitude, and possibility for the future. There is so much meaning, relationship, originality, depth in that photo. Spending a week in the South of France submerged in marketing buzzwords like #AI might seem like a lot of hype... (and boy, do we know how to talk about AI!). But its much more than that. The festival is such a perfect exemplification of the role that humanity plays in our industry. People committing to come together to share ideas, build relationships, celebrate each other, problem-solve, and dream of what's to come. Every year at Cannes Lions I'm reminded that we are an industry comprised of humans. Great ones, at that.
