Founder & Managing Partner, Employment and Contracts Law at SpringLaw

🌟 Transforming Legal Services with Tech & AI at SpringLaw 🌟 We continue to use tech at SpringLaw to optimize and deliver efficient and practical legal services focused on the client. We've been virtual, paperless and in the cloud since we opened in 2017, letting us collaborate both internally and with our wide range of clients. AI has only amped up the opportunities to transform traditional legal services even further. We've been early adopters of legal research tools like BlueJ Legal and Alexi, sharing screens with clients on video calls to work through legal solutions together in real-time. But GenAI is something new. It is more than a tool to gather info - it's a method to generate content across the board. Our team walked through ways to further integrate AI into our day to day practice last week at our quarterly in-person MeetUp. While it's ALWAYS just a first draft to review, edit, scrutinize and improve, it's no doubt the game changer of our generation. It's more than another tool to do the same work the same way we've done for years. Rather, it's a NEW way to do things, to curate and produce content, to work collaboratively with a machine. It's part of my daily workflow now. And in the same way a day without my keyboard and mouse would be weird, I can't imagine a future of the workplace without GenAI. Are there security, ethical, IP and accuracy risks? Yes of course. We're working through all the many early issues of any tech, and especially such transformative tech that changes how we gather, process and create information. But the ship has sailed on WHETHER we should use GenAI. The layers of efficiency and in many cases, incomparably more comprehensive and accurate outcomes require widespread adoption for better client service and legal solutions. We're in the early, exciting days of this transformative journey. So many more issues to sort out over the coming weeks, months and years. #LegalInnovation #AIinLaw #ClientService #LegalTech
