It's indeed exciting news for AMD to surpass Intel in brand recognition according to Kantar's BrandZ Most Valuable Brands report. This achievement not only highlights AMD's growing prominence but also underscores its significant rise in brand value. With a 53% year-over-year increase to $51.86 billion in the Business Technology and Services Platforms category, AMD's impressive growth signifies strong consumer confidence and market presence. This milestone reflects AMD's strategic advancements and the impact of its innovations in the tech industry.
Alexey, this milestone truly highlights the incredible journey and relentless innovation at AMD. The impressive rise in brand value speaks volumes about the dedication and vision driving your team. It's fascinating to see how AI advancements are propelling growth and reshaping the competitive landscape.
I changed to AMD in 2016 and I've not looked back since, their price-to-value ratio is usually better than intel, their innovation is also better than intel (my 5800X3D chip for example with it's extra V-CACHE). Intel dropped the ball years ago, losing out on all sides, even if their top models still marginally beat competition.
I suppose that's no surprise given that AMD are in the gaming space as well. Gives them a market advantage.
Alexey Navolokin AMD stepping up big time! 🚀 It's like watching an underdog story in real-time. Their AI push is seriously impressive. Goes to show, focusing on what's next (like AI) can really turn the tables.
Quite some interesting numbers there, congratulation on that achievement and thanks for sharing!
Who would have believed this beginning of this millennium Alexey Navolokin ? 😎
And when you think that "Back in the ’70s, AMD was pumping out computer chips. By the ’80s, it was a second-source supplier for Intel. After AMD and Intel parted ways, AMD reverse engineered Intel’s chips to make its own products that were compatible with Intel’s groundbreaking x86 software. Intel sued AMD, but a settlement in 1995 gave AMD the right to continue designing x86 chips, making personal computer pricing more competitive for end consumers." This could be a great story for #riskmanagement, #intellectualproperty, #NDAs and more ....
