AMD is the only company in the world with both high-performance computing and high-performance graphics technology and the expertise to combine them into custom solutions.

I changed to AMD in 2016 and I've not looked back since, their price-to-value ratio is usually better than intel, their innovation is also better than intel (my 5800X3D chip for example with it's extra V-CACHE). Intel dropped the ball years ago, losing out on all sides, even if their top models still marginally beat competition.

I suppose that's no surprise given that AMD are in the gaming space as well. Gives them a market advantage.

And when you think that "Back in the ’70s, AMD was pumping out computer chips. By the ’80s, it was a second-source supplier for Intel. After AMD and Intel parted ways, AMD reverse engineered Intel’s chips to make its own products that were compatible with Intel’s groundbreaking x86 software. Intel sued AMD, but a settlement in 1995 gave AMD the right to continue designing x86 chips, making personal computer pricing more competitive for end consumers." This could be a great story for #riskmanagement, #intellectualproperty, #NDAs and more ....
