Retired social justice advocate

I’m thrilled to share that I have retired! I’m taking the summer “off” to be with my 90 year old parents and relax and unwind until my daughter’s wedding in mid-September Then taking suggestions for volunteer activities, preferably involving lots of human or puppy interaction.

Alexa!!! Congratulations! What an incredible impact you've had in your legal career. I can't wait to see what you do in "retirement." I have a feeling you'll be as busy and giving as ever.

Wow - congratulations, Alexa. I still remember when you were a law student! 🥰 Enjoy your time with family this summer.

Congratulations, Alexa! Relax into your retirement, enjoy your time with your parents, and daughter (and all the puppies) and know that the seeds you planted in all of us law students are now spread far and wide. I so appreciate the public interest community you built at HLS when I was so intimated by the law school experience and uncertain about what was possible for my career. All the best!

What Courtney Joslin said! So many of us wouldn't have the amazing and fulfilling careers that we do without your support of us during our time at HLS. You are amazing, and we are throwing all of the glitter on you as you take the leap into what will surely be an amazing retirement. Bravo!

What Sharon and Courtney said. Alexa, it's just unbelievable how enormous a change you made in the lives of decades of public interested law students and the institutionalization of a tremendous springboard for public interest lawyering at HLS. I mean, I remember the days when the OPIA Office was essentially a closet! I'm not imagining that, right?

Congrats! Thank you for your long career supporting public interest law/students and to furthering justice under the law. I am so thankful for your support and guidance while you were at HLS's Office of Public Interest Advising.

Wow! So exciting. Doesn't that mean you can finally delete your LinkedIn account though!? 😀
