“If you wait for the perfect time, you’ll never stop waiting…” This statement rings true for starting a family, going back to school, changing career paths and is certainly true when it comes to launching a business. When I was beginning my journey as an entrepreneur, the very first game-changing lesson I learned was that taking imperfect action was more important than waiting for everything to be “just right.” 💡 Back then, I learned that making small, consistent moves forward was the key to progress. I didn’t come to this realization quickly and admittedly wasted valuable time, resources and momentum by hesitating and second-guessing. We would reach a milestone and then get stuck in the “what ifs” of ideation and innovation. And while innovation is necessary for growth and to be a leader in any market— Getting stuck in the innovation phase without launching is ineffective and detrimental for three reasons: 👏🏻 Products that haven’t launched can’t earn money 👏🏻 Without launching; you lose the ability to get feedback from your customers 👏🏻 While you’re waiting for it to be “just right” your competitor is gaining first-to-market advantage😳 Even though I’ve come a long way since then, I still think of that lesson often because it reminds me that baby steps are often the best way to move forward. 🙌 You don’t have to have all the answers to start. You just have to start! #entrepreneurship #getstartedtoday #leadership

Peter Thiel is worth $7.2 billion, and these are the 5 powerful lessons from his book 'Zero to One' As entrepreneurs, we all strive to create something truly unique and groundbreaking. Peter Thiel, with a net worth of $7.2 billion, has distilled the essence of entrepreneurial success in his iconic book, 'Zero to One.' Here are 5 powerful lessons you can implement in 2024 to boost your business: 1. Businesses are not science: Science deals with universal truths, but businesses are one-of-a-kind. Each moment is unique, and the next Mark Zuckerberg won't create another social media platform. 2. Innovate; don't imitate: Focus on creating something ground-breaking, not replicating what's already out there. Going from zero to one means starting from scratch and building a product that changes the world. 3. Embrace the monopoly mindset: All successful companies earn a monopoly by solving a unique problem. All the failed companies couldn't escape competition. Strive for a monopoly in your niche. 4. Seek inspiration beyond your industry: Find inspiration in unexpected places. Reed Hastings took cues from Amazon's recommendation algorithm to create Netflix's unique product. 5. Distribution is king: "If you build it, they will come" is a lie. Don't spend all your money developing a product without a solid plan to get it in front of your target audience. Are you going to implement these lessons in your venture? #entrepreneurship #business

🌱 A startup founder's personality can shift from being constructive to destructive. In our research, we've identified 26 traits that define entrepreneurship. Each trait has its spectrum and can influence entrepreneurial success positively or negatively. Here are five worst-case scenarios we've seen caused by either traits being underdeveloped or in some cases overdeveloped. 1️⃣ Excuse-making: Avoiding responsibility and blaming external factors for failures, which hinders growth and learning. 2️⃣ Predatory aggressiveness: Damaging relationships with employees, partners, and customers, which can isolate the company. 3️⃣ Deceit: Eroding trust within the team and with external stakeholders, which undermines company integrity. 4️⃣ Emotional instability: Leads to poor decision-making and unpredictable leadership, which affects overall company performance. 5️⃣ Narcissism: Focusing on self-interest over the company's well-being, which can derail collective goals. 🔗 Read how to manage these scenarios here: https://lnkd.in/dPunTY25 🧬 Take the Entrepreneur DNA Assessment: dna.fi.co
