Having a member of your team leaving, shouldn't let you think "We can continue without him, Where has he been when we did all our past achievements?" Coz despite of your long history of success work, each person has his own fingerprint in doing things. Don't focus only on your work being done, but also on how it will be achieved. You may get a new employee that can fit, but you'll re-do all what it takes to hire and onboard. So having a good process doesn’t mean you can replace humans whenever you want. #team #hiring #unique

Be intentional and ambitious when hiring. You'll be surprised how many missionaries are out there who can help you and your team achieve your mission. I'm still learning, but I'm very fortunate for the amazing colleagues who joined me and Nupur on this crazy ambitious idea. 🌟 Things that work for us, even though we're sub 12. ↳ Lean towards milestone base early on to test expectation on both side. You don’t need months of onboarding. Great hire delivers exceptional results in few days not months. ↳ Share your Why and values. Clearly communicate why you doing what you doing, be genuine and ask what is there WHY of joining or what is there personal goal or career objective. ↳ Don’t over index salary. If you know that they can deliver exceptional result from point 1. You should be flexible but of course lean to equity first. Right hire is forward looking than short term benefits. Might not be for everyone but so far this works for us attracting world-class talent.
