The #tone_of_voice in communication is defined as 'the way a person speaks to someone'. It is how you use your voice to get your #point across. If you don't do it right, there is a risk of your point getting lost or misinterpreted. So if you are working as Medical Rep, pay attention for your tone of voice while interacting with your customers, and see the deference! #development #communication

For Medical Representatives, facing objections is part of the job. But remember, objections are opportunities in disguise! It's a buying signal as well. Here's a quick guide to handle them effectively: 1️⃣ Listen Actively: Understand the objection, and don't interrupt. Let them express their concerns. 2️⃣ Empathize: Show understanding and empathy. Let them know you're on their side. 3️⃣ Provide Solutions: Offer relevant information and solutions to address their concerns. 4️⃣ Highlight Benefits: Emphasize the value and benefits of your product or service. 5️⃣ Ask for Feedback: Seek their thoughts on the solution and adapt as needed. 💪 Turn objections into opportunities and build stronger relationships with your clients. #MedicalRep #ObjectionHandling #PharmaceuticalSelling (credit to the rightful owner of the image :) )

We’re proud to share this month’s employee spotlight featuring Mark, Medical Director at CMC Connect. Read on to discover more about Mark’s role, what makes him proud to work for IPG Health Medical Communications and his biggest achievement so far! 🌟 Can you give us a brief summary of what you do in your role? As a Medical Director at CMC Connect, I provide scientific and strategic oversight across a large publications account. I work closely with both medical and client service colleagues leading multiple publication activities, while collaborating with a wide range of clients to ensure delivery of their publication plans. 🌟 What brought you to Med Comms? Despite having a passion for all things in medical science, I was tired of temporary contract work after my PhD, first in the post-doc environment and then in a pharmaceutical company. A colleague mentioned medical writing to me and I subsequently replied to a job posting for medical writers at CMC back in 2001. That’s when I started my career in Med Comms, and I’ve been here ever since! 🌟 What makes you proud to work for IPG Health Medical Communications? The culture and the people must get a mention, but the flexibility offered in my working arrangements is always my answer when asked why I’ve been here for so long. I was given the opportunity to work from home before it was common and that let my family and I move back to Northern Ireland, which I have always appreciated. 🌟 How do you look after your own wellbeing? Sitting down with a good book. 🌟 List three words to describe you best Organised, calm and loyal (I’m still supporting Manchester United despite the trauma both before and after the Fergie era) 🌟 What song is top of your playlist right now? I recently discovered Smith & Thell, thanks to Spotify, and have them on repeat. Hotel Walls is my current favourite song. 🌟 Tell us something about you that might surprise people. I’m a bit of a tech geek and always have a custom PC build in progress.
