THE “A NIGHT WITH THE STARS” GALA RECURRENT GIVING CAMPAIGN IS OPEN FOR EIGHT MORE DAYS!! Missed our 2nd annual A Night With the Stars Gala? Don’t worry, you can still be a part of Saturday’s incredible night and make a lasting impact! Please join us in making in with your recurrent giving pledge! Our goal this year is to raise at least $45,000 and we can do that with just 150 recurrent giving pledges of $25! While events like galas are fantastic opportunities to come together and support important causes, the impact doesn’t have to end when the night does. Recurrent giving, such as pledging to give each month, is a powerful way to sustain support for organizations and causes that matter to you. Here’s why your recurrent giving pledge is so important for Survive First: - Consistent Support: By pledging to give to Survive First each month, you provide reliable and consistent support to the organization. This allows them to plan and budget effectively, knowing they have a steady stream of income they can count on. - Long-Term Impact: Small monthly donations can add up to a significant contribution over time. Your ongoing support helps fund essential programs, projects, and initiatives that create lasting change in the community. - Accessibility: Recurrent giving makes it easier for donors to contribute regularly without having to remember to make a donation each time. It’s a convenient way to support a cause you care about without any hassle. Even if you couldn’t attend our gala, you can still be a part of making a difference. Consider pledging to give each month and join us in our mission to create positive change in our community. But hurry, our campaign is open for six more days! Don’t miss this opportunity to make a lasting impact beyond A Night With the Stars Gala. Pledge your support today and show our “stars”(first responders) how much you support them every month! With our deepest gratitude, thank you so much for your support! Click here to make you pledge today 👇🏼👇🏼 https://lnkd.in/emPt59na #SurviveFirst #ANightWithTheStars #firstresponders #mentalhealthmatters #WeSeeYou

With the Government’s new national wellbeing framework they’ve taken a great step towards measuring more holistically what a ‘successful’ nation looks like beyond productivity. In our recent publication Seeding Futures for Wellbeing, we suggest we need to tap into the collective imagination of all of us to catalyse shifts across themes represented in the framework’s indicators. Many of them relate to the wellbeing of people, communities and places (or Country). In our provocation we highlight a set of potential territories for collective imagination and deliberation – like ‘How could we connect national indicators for wellbeing with locally-led frameworks measuring, monitoring and learning from what matters at a local, community level?’ We also share pockets of the future that already exist as sparks to inspire imagination, and to support and prioritise initiatives already delivering great outcomes. Initiatives like Firesticks who aim to reinvigorate the use of cultural burning by facilitating cultural learning pathways to fire and land management. This fantastic group is working to empower Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal communities to work together towards healthy, functional and resilient landscapes while growing intergenerational wellbeing in First Nations communities. Firesticks have just launched a fundraising campaign to train the next generation of Indigenous Fire Practitioners – support them here 👉🏾 https://lnkd.in/eVsPGBak Other links: Seeding Futures for Wellbeing https://lnkd.in/g3P-Dc59 Measuring What Matters Framework: https://lnkd.in/gKn3XGY3 Ingrid Burkett Joanne McNeill Craig North
