Can you believe it? It's [school] election week again! This year, my son is running for Junior class President. [He ran (and won) for Sophomore VP last year.] So, like any good #marketer, he decided to stay true to the #brand he established last year. While retaining similar font styles and graphics as the previous year, and the "AP for VP" campaign slogan was updated this year to "Parikh for President." Also new this year was the addition of #socialmedia (after just a couple of weeks, the kid has more followers than me on Instagram 📸). All posts include his signature campaign slogan with the same font styles and colors to reinforce what the students see on campus each day. He's also much more meticulous about planning and execution this year. Started planning his campaign promotional materials, speech and video message well in advance while asking his friends (campaign staff) to put up flyers and canvas on his behalf. It's wonderful to see his progress and growth over the previous year - he's taken a much more active role in what his campaign strategy and execution this year.
