I had a great time at the WNORTH event last night. The topic was "The Power of Connections" & how a simple hello can lead to great things. The panelists, Laura Beauparlant (from Lab Creative & author of Brand Chemistry), Jodi Kovitz (author of Move The Dial) & Rivanna O'Hare from Open Text, also talked about how to ask more meaningful questions such as "tell me about you", "what excites you?" or "what lights you up?" rather than the age old "what do you do?" By asking better questions, it's easier to find common ground & develop deeper connections more quickly which can help evolve our networks better, personally & professionally! #womeninbusiness #networkingtips #powerofconnection
