Working in tech can feel like white water rafting - exhilarating, frightening, and somewhat out of our control. With the rise of AI, it's going to be a bumpy ride for a while. CEOs see AI as a shiny new toy, forcing a reassessment of the type of company they want to be and how to get there. Despite the recent layoffs in the industry, it's not because they lack ideas, but because they have too many. The good news is that with all that energy and all those ideas acting on those rapids, eventually, we'll make it to calmer waters where everyone can play.
