AISIN World Corp. of America’s Post

You may know us for our highest quality auto parts and innovative technology, but one of the most important facets of our company is our commitment to communities across the globe. AISIN is actively involved in local philanthropic efforts and already this month we have participated in several major and diverse activities that have made significant impact. We have been supporting the Living and Learning Enrichment Center (LLEC) in Northville for several years as they enhance the lives of local youth with autism and other disabilities. Through therapeutic, social, work-based, and community engagement, LLEC seeks to support, enrich, inspire, and embolden their participants and families. LLEC is quickly becoming the nation’s model in supporting the highest quality of life for people with disabilities, and events like their recent Hopes and Dreams Gala make it possible. A cumulative $425,000 was raised in a single evening! This astounding amount will directly support our programs, helping individuals with disabilities live meaningful and fulfilling lives. Furthering the support of youth in our community, our North American sales headquarters regularly supports the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan (BGCSM) which provides a safe space for youth to learn and have fun, while providing them with the economic, cultural and social capital needed to become career, start up and homeowner ready. BGCSM recently hosted its 45th annual Automotive Golf Classic at the historic lndianwood Golf & Country Club in Lake Orion, Michigan as a team of our executives and customers took to the course for a good cause on a gorgeous day. Since 1980, this premier annual golf event has raised more than $20,000,000 to serve 21,000 youth annually. While our North American operations are robust, we never forget our Japanese roots from our origin nearly 60 years ago. Our support of The Japan America Society (JAS) ensures the legacy of our heritage. JAS is dedicated to strengthening the ties of friendship between the Japanese people and the citizens of the Greater Detroit and Windsor area and to assist in developing a common understanding of economic, political, and cultural diversity. AISIN members and their families recently attended the JAS annual dinner where they experienced cuisine, culture and camaraderie in celebration of our global reach and strong relationships. These are just a few of the numerous activities taking place worldwide as our members continue to amaze us with their dedication and support to philanthropic activities. Just as we are tireless in our efforts to innovate mobility, we are also working year round to improve the world, one community at a time.
