The future is now, and it's powered by AI! Absolutely agree with Andriy Burkov here. Despite the varying performance of large language models against some expectations, the evolution of AI technology is faster than ever and now is indeed a prime time to get involved. The lessons we learn from current models pave the way for more refined and impactful applications in the future. As we continue to innovate, it's crucial to balance our advancements with careful consideration of ethical implications and data privacy. Let's embrace progress while upholding our responsibilities for ethical AI development. Exciting times ahead in AI! #AI #MachineLearning #Innovation #EthicalAI #DataPrivacy

Despite what you hear about LLMs not living up to expectations, there has never been a better time to start in AI than today in the entire history of this field.

I must admit that I find it exciting how Generative AI uses the distance between vector parameters in multi dimensional space (over a thousand) to effectively and efficiently encode and classify semantic meaning. The evolution of vector databases for Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) is also very interesting. Especially when you look at how things work under the hood, away from the noise and hype. What a time to be alive ! You should be pleased to see how machines are taught to “reason” like humans. I mean how everything works under the hood. Very interesting.

I’ve been working with LangGraph over the past weekend to finally build the beginnings of what I envisioned since I first learned about LLMs. I’ve written a brief Medium article that goes into more detail, but essentially, this system represents an early attempt at mirroring psychoanalytical patterns of the id, superego, ego, along with creativity and rationality, to form a dynamic persona. These components share a memory and access various tools like web crawling, image generation, and voiced output for now. https://lnkd.in/ea56aNjS There’s still significant progress to be made in this direction—combining specialized modules to create an emergent type of intelligence that appears organic. This mirrors how our various cognitive faculties come together to form our conscious experience. Building systems that closely mimic the processes of organic minds can not only enhance AI capabilities but also help us understand our inner workings. Whether society is ready to accept these insights though is still a topic of debate. https://lnkd.in/eDt7-PME #AI #LangChain #LangGraph #Psychoanalysis #MultiAgentSystem
