Reading subject specific books is useful for understanding practical application of design. This book "how design strategies are shaping the future of business a fine line" by Hartmut Esslinger, Frog design is a treasure trove of design examples that have made design desicions based on process oriented approach for new products. I got to learn about ELF Rating System which is measurement based on a product's environmental impact.
