What do you do when your CEO is on holiday? You probably shouldn’t find a photo of them covered in sequins and dressed like David Bowie and post it to your company’s professional page, should you? Oh well. Carolene Méli told us to do it. She’s hosting today’s #WXOSocial – an informal chance for WXO Members to nerd out on the experience they can’t stop thinking about, bond over nightmare clients, or just talk about what they had for breakfast – and is asking you all to bring your current favourite photo to the party. If you want to make a new experience friend, catch up with familiar faces, or just see what it's all about, it all kicks off in precisely 3 hours at 15:55 BST. RSVP on WXO Connect here: https://lnkd.in/eFhSt8JV See you and your best photo of your boss there? #sorryjames #worldexperienceorganization #wxo #wxosocial #experienceevent #experiencesocial #experiencegathering #experienceeconomy #experiences

CEO & Founder @ RSP (Ready. Set. Pivot.) I Experiential I Marketer I Producer I Master's of Communication
Some people believe in signs. I can't say I've ever really been one of those people. In fact, just a few years ago I would have scoffed at the idea that all things 'happen for a reason.' Now all of that said, earlier this spring I took this pic while I was in Chitown for a hot minute surmising what the start of an RSP experience in Chicago might look like . . . Honestly, nothing much happened after that. I did some followups, worked on concepts and ideas - and then I got busy. Busy with what was in front of me and work at hand. And yet now, here today I’m happy to share with you that RSP is going to Chicago! That’s right. As small steps, discovery, connecting and life would have it - this November RSP will join Thrivent to lead and talk about purpose during a Purpose Driven Happy Hour. This experience will bring together the bold, unapologetic and amazing (dah!) + those who have been or might be considering what it means to make change happen - for them, by them! I couldn’t be more excited. If there’s an amazing women in your network that should know about this experience - will you share it with them? It’s free to attend. And the partners I’m working with at Thrivent are of course some of the best around. Open. Honest. Direct. And supporters of helping others find what’s next for them - today, tomorrow or be it years down the road. So there you have it - proof I’m wrong. All things, in due time and for good reason. And every now and then you get a sign to help you move things forward. What sign have you seen lately? Where will your next chapter begin? Event experience details in the comments. #purpose #happyhour #networking

🚀 Would you rather have 50k followers OR a close-knit community of 10k? 🫂👇🏻 🔍 As you gaze at the crossroads of the digital landscape, a crucial decision awaits: Do you seek the allure of a massive following or the impact of a tightly-knit community? 🌟 In my journey, the choice is clear. I believe in the essence of community. Here's why: 1️⃣ Authentic Connections: Community isn't just about numbers; it's about forging genuine relationships. It's about sparking meaningful conversations, collaborating with like-minded peers, and making a lasting impact. 2️⃣ Targeted Relevance: A community brings together individuals who share a genuine interest in your field. These connections lead to more meaningful discussions, potential partnerships, and a network you can rely on. 3️⃣ Trust and Credibility: Building a community fosters trust. Members value your insights and see you as a credible source of information. This trust translates into stronger engagement, more referrals, and better business opportunities. 4️⃣ Two-Way Learning: Communities are built on mutual respect. They provide a platform for open dialogue, where you not only share your expertise but also learn from others' experiences. 5️⃣ Sustainable Impact: A loyal community doesn't just offer a brief moment of attention; it provides consistent engagement that yields long-term benefits. It's an investment that pays dividends over time. 6️⃣ Collaborative Potential: Within a community, collaboration flourishes. It's a space where partnerships emerge, joint ventures form, and innovation thrives. I choose to invest my efforts in nurturing a community, in building connections that matter. Quality over quantity, always. 📣💡 What about you? Where does your compass point? Let's engage in the comments below and embark on this enriching journey together. 🚀👇🏻🫂 #CommunityMatters #B2BNetworking #QualityConnections #LinkedInCommunity

Read how we hold ourselves accountable to "doing the right thing" every day in my latest blog post from my series celebrating learnings from NST's 50 years in business.
While “doing the right thing” is likely a familiar concept for most, it holds tremendous value at NST. The Neurodiversity Foundation is excited to be launching a new research project with our partner, Perceptyx, which works with some of the top global companies on how they can better listen to employees. For the first time, they are gathering data on the experience of the neurodiverse workforce, and we hope you will join us by being a participant and completing the survey we worked with them to create. It should take about 8 minutes. Once we they have the data, we will be able to share some insights with you about how engaged neurodiverse workers are in their workplaces, how accommodations are made so they can be top contributors, and a host of other topics. When we share the results with our friends and media that covers the neurodiverse community, we will be bringing much-needed visibility to the neurodiverse workforce and getting more companies to think about inclusive practices. Thank you so much in advance for taking the time to be part of our research project. The survey is open only to those who identify as neurodiverse and are currently working any paid hours during the week. We value those of you in our community who are not currently working, but for this project we want to focus on the workplace – we hope you can join us for other research projects down the road! Please share it with anyone you know who meets these criteria. Complete the survey today (8 minutes – please complete the full survey in one session if you can). #neurodiversity
