This week, I will be starting my new internship at the U.S. Department of State! I'll be working within the Office of eDiplomacy on researching and analyzing data on knowledge management practices at State. Throughout the past year, I have learned the importance of having good knowledge management, no matter the identity of the organization. I am excited to work on such an important mechanism for policy, complementing what I learn from this internship with my current studies in international relations! #knowledgemanagement #statedepartment #foreignpolicy

A key focus of our work has been enhancing the advocacy capacities of African individuals and organisations to co-create solutions tailored to African challenges, using an Africentric approach. In 2023, we achieved this by providing training, mentorship, fellowships, internships, public lectures, and seminars to institutions, CSOs, and individuals. Supporting educational institutions reach their student recruitment and engagement goals from Latin America | Expert in student recruitment & engagement | Dad of 2 girls
Is what to study now more important than where to study for Latin Americans? For Mexican students 71% say ‘yes’ according to the latest Keystone Education Group report on Latin America. This means highlighting the key features of your institution’s top programmes is just as important as highlighting the location. Even more interestingly, according to Keystone other top priorities Latin American students consider when choosing an institution are: 📕 Program content and modules (63.5%) ✏ Work placements / internships (59.4%) 👨🏫 Quality of professors & teaching (49.8%) In many of the marketing material recommendations we at EdCo make for our partners, we often advise highlighting 4 key points: details of the top programs broken down into bitesize chunks, share course syllabi in an easily accessible way, highlight career opportunities and internships to really stand out, and of course provide nice pictures and facts about the location.

We provide training for churches, pastors and leaders in areas around the world where poverty prevents them from receiving quality training. We also seek to create international internships, missions and learning experiences for churches and their leaders to learn from others around the globe. Here are a few takeaways that our Kenyan pastor friend mentioned when speaking about our last conference [in his words]: 🔸Growing the ministry. 🔸Involving young people in very major decision making. 🔸How to empower and equipped them. 🔸Willing to let them take over by letting it go of control and power.
