I often get asked why White & Co Real Estate LLC ? The words inclusion and diversity get thrown around a lot with community engagement programs. Sadly, often these terms are requirements to tick boxes for funding. I like to think that there will be a time, not too far in the distant future, when we don't need to use the word inclusion when describing a program because it will just be a given that all community programs are accessible to everyone. And if all programs are truly inclusive, they will be, by nature, diverse. At Team Connect WA, we acknowledge that barriers to participation vary between individuals. There is no "one size fits all" which is why we spend time getting to know every participant in the program. Team Connect has no other agenda other than that to support young people that would benefit from our program. We never set out to be a program that celebrated diversity. But by being a program that takes inclusive practices seriously, the outcomes have blown us away. This video, quite literally, brings me to tears. Of joy.
