Elderly abuse is a pressing issue in Canada that demands urgent attention⛔ Firstly, there are various forms of mistreatment, including physical, emotional, financial, and even neglect ♂ ♀ One of the most alarming aspects of elderly abuse is that it often occurs behind closed doors, within the supposed sanctity of homes and care facilities. Loved ones, entrusted with the care of seniors, sometimes become perpetrators of abuse, betraying the very trust placed in them. It's a distressing reality that the people meant to provide comfort and support can end up inflicting harm instead. Its surprising that there are a large number of retirement homes and long term care centers where a large number of residents are living.. Furthermore, neglect in care facilities is a growing concern, with reports of seniors being deprived of basic necessities such as food, hygiene, and medical attention.
