Did you know that the post-traumatic stress veterans experience due to war makes them 60% more likely to have justice-system involvement? One of the missions of Eagle Rock is to teach warriors and their families the essential life skills needed to live purpose-filled lives and connect in their communities, making them less likely to have justice-system involvement. Join our mission to help those who have served. https://lnkd.in/ghb_Gwcx

🌹 Remembrance Day: Honoring Our Fallen Heroes. 🌹 On this solemn occasion, we come together to pay our respects and remember the brave individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Remembrance Day is a time to reflect on the values that bind us with our fallen members of the armed forces. 1. Courage and Sacrifice: Our fallen heroes exemplified the values of courage and sacrifice. They willingly put themselves in harm's way to protect our way of life. We must remember their unwavering dedication and courage. 2. Freedom and Democracy: The values we hold dear - freedom, democracy, and the rule of law - are the very ideals our armed forces defended. It's a reminder of the high price paid for the liberties we often take for granted. 3. Unity and Gratitude: As a nation, it's important that we come together, setting aside our differences, to honor those who served. The unity we find in this shared act of remembrance reflects the strength of our values. 4. Support and Gratitude: Attending local Remembrance Day parades is a way to show our support for veterans, active-duty military, and their families. It's a chance to express our heartfelt gratitude for their service. 5. Never Forget: Remembrance Day serves as a solemn reminder that the sacrifices made by our fallen heroes should never be forgotten. Their legacy lives on through our commitment to upholding the values they defended. As we pin our poppies and gather at parades, let's remember that it's not just a tradition, but a duty. By honoring the past, we ensure that the values we cherish continue to guide our future. #RemembranceDay #LestWeForget #SupportOurTroops #HonorOurHeroes Let us remember and honor those who gave their all for the sake of our values and freedom. 🌺🕊️ #RemembranceDay

Where Were You on September 11? Each year on Patriot Day, we remember the horrific attacks of September 11, 2001, that took the lives of 2,977 innocent people. The reality that 22 years have passed since that tragic day seems almost unreal. For most of us, the precise moment when we heard about the planes crashing into the World Trade Center towers is seared into our minds, an indelible part of our personal histories. As the sun rises each September 11, we stand in solidarity, mindful of the past, and committed to fostering a future of unity, empathy, and hope. Beyond the sadness and heartache, the act of remembering is a tribute to the lives lost, a commitment to learning from history, and a declaration of our shared humanity. It's a solemn promise to honor the past by building a better, more compassionate future. Remembering ensures that the events of 9/11 continue to shape our collective consciousness and guide us toward a world of understanding, peace, and resilience.
