Product Development without scoping is like assembling IKEA furniture without the manual... expect lots of leftover pieces and a lopsided end product! 🪑 Here are five pivotal tactics that will turn scoping from a stumbling block into a stepping stone: 1️⃣ Target the Heart of the Problem 🎯  Understand the problem, not just on the surface, but delve into the depths of your target audience’s needs and aspirations. 2️⃣ Become Audience Ambassadors 📣 Don’t just assume, connect. Use surveys, interviews, and user testing to get to know your audience intimately. 3️⃣ Keep the Narrative Neutral 📖 Don't lead the witness! Open-ended questions allow for unexpected, yet genuine, insights. 4️⃣ Visualize to Realize 🗺️ Translate your ideas into wireframes and workflow diagrams. This will help you identify potential hiccups and streamline the user experience. 5️⃣ Collaboration is Key 🔑 Scoping isn’t a one-and-done. I used this product and had actually liked the initial feel although it was a bit clunky to use https://lnkd.in/gd9Hpxqe Some product lessons learned: The importance of continuous innovation, responsiveness to evolving customer needs, and avoiding complacency after initial success Users criticized InVision for not evolving beyond its initial prototyping platform and struggling to differentiate itself. Style over substance and a failure to scale products with customers also contributed to user dissatisfaction. A lot to learn here that takes us back to the basics of innovation, iterative delivery, staying connected with users and being present with the future !

Transitioning from being a hands-on designer to leading a team of incredibly talented individuals at MPB has been an invigorating journey.
