I used to be the person who waited until things got really bad before addressing my mental health, only to realise how much longer it took for my mind and body to recover. If we treated our mental health with the same importance as our physical health, we wouldn’t wait for things to deteriorate. At the first sign of trouble, we would actively seek help or make changes to improve our wellbeing. Instead of letting issues build up, focus on establishing strong foundations for your wellbeing. This proactive approach will give you better control over your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, helping you handle challenges more effectively.
True , most of the people don't realise they have trouble mentally and even if they think so only few seek professional help. This has to be changed. Seeking help should be normalised. Healing should be normalised. Prioritising mental sanity should be prioritised
Thank you, Adam, for sharing this. Your wisdom and vulnerability are truly inspiring. Prioritizing mental health is so important, and your words serve as a powerful reminder to take proactive steps. Grateful for your insights!
