Personal lines insurance agents know the drill. In order to place business with multiple carriers and markets you must collect all the answers to all the questions from every market. You do this without knowing ahead of time, which markets will decline which risks. That's overkill and inefficient. In this episode of Profiles in Risk, Tony, speaks with David Watson, insurance agent and Insurtech CEO of RiskAdvisor. RiskAdvisor is a platform to streamline the data collection and intake process, which allows answers to key questions to guide the conversation, eliminate needless questions and then compiles the answers into the formats the markets require, giving the agent more time to meet more prospects and clients.

Personal lines insurance agents spend as much as 40% just collecting client data that must be organized, packaged and placed into the markets such as through carriers and wholesale brokers. They may need to ask about trampoline types for one carrier, dog breed for another and so on until the agent has collected all of the info that each of the markets requires. It's a lot of work. RiskAdvisor is a platform that is basically a "souped up intake form" helping personal lines agents take that client/prospect conversation, simplifies it and guides it so the agent doesn't waste time collecting information that won't help in the placement process.
