Ossar Thompson's off-ball abilities are truly outstanding. He moves on the court tirelessly, resembling a long-distance runner, with unpredictable but precise positioning to receive passes and score. On the defensive end, he's an active player, even snatching rebounds from players like Durant. Any coach would appreciate such a player. His exceptional qualities make him a formidable defender.
His passing awareness is also excellent. Although he may not have a strong scoring desire, he enjoys creating opportunities for teammates and may become an excellent defensive forward with great passing abilities. Perhaps a high-quality small forward for the team? Similar to Iguodala or Ariza?
However, he lacks diverse offensive moves, often resulting in turnovers when driving to the basket with limited offensive options. Nevertheless, this doesn't diminish my liking for him. I should closely observe his entire season.
