When you start a post LinkedIn asks "What do you want to talk about?". With Steven Pivnik, the answer to that is EVERYTHING... The startup cliche is that it's never a straight line from startup to exit, and Steven's story is no exception. Combine that with an amazing storyteller and it makes for a conversation that I did not want to end. But since we didn't have 20 hours to cover everything, Steven (Founder and CEO of Binary Tree now part of Quest) and I focused on four key strategic transactions that defined the story: - Two of these transactions were massive contracts with some well known players (Microsoft and IBM to be specific) - The other two were strategic acquisitions of Binary Tree Now you're probably asking yourself, how exactly was Binary Tree acquired by strategics twice?!
